Fishing Report

November has been a great month of fishing throughout the Bay area.  There is still plenty of bait around and we are catching a lot of fish.  Earlier in the month we were still catching snook in the passes and on the beaches.  In the last week or so, we have focused more on inshore flats and transition areas into the backwaters. Half day trips have produced numerous redfish and snook off of oyster bars, creek mouths, docks, and flats.  We have been using live scaled sardines, cut bait, and artificial lures.  Topwater baits, spoons, and jigs have been the most productive lures.  Don’t let the news about red tide deter you from getting out on the water, there are still plenty of options available for a great day of fishing.

“As a mom, I worry that Justin’s age makes it less appealing for people to work with him, that was not the case at all…  This trip was all about Justin and Captain Austin was GREAT!  He made Justin’s experience worth every dime we spent on this trip…or more.  Justin is DYING to go again”
